MY ROLE
As Lead Experience Designer for the virtual reality experiences, I worked with our learning and simulation teams to take the experience from conceptions to active teaching tools. I conducted research, subject matter expert interviews, managed the design process, oversaw project planning, and worked closely with the Principal Investigator, production manager and SLB learning solutions team.
PRODUCT
The image below shows a virtual training environment where multiple students and practice attaching a tool to a rig together. The must verbally communicates and use specific hand singles as they work together.
The training environment knows who each student is and captures aspects of their performance that can be added to a learner profile. These metrics can be used in after action review settings to help a trainer developer future specific training experience. The virtual environments act as a safe space to practice new skills
